Welcome to msd volunteers

Welcome to msd volunteers

The Moraga School District is deeply grateful for our dedicated volunteers. Whether assisting in classrooms, chaperoning field trips, helping at events, or supporting behind the scenes, your time and talents enrich our schools. Thank you for partnering with us to help MSD students learn, grow, and belong.
Volunteer requirements

Volunteer requirements

Before volunteering, all individuals and contractors must complete the annual clearance process through the Be a Mentor portal.

Pursuant to California Senate Bill 848 (effective July 1, 2026), these requirements must be renewed yearly to remain eligible for Morag School District service:
  • Live Scan fingerprint background check
  • Mandated Reporter Training
  • TB Test
These requirements help ensure a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.

To learn more about volunteering, including volunteer categories, clearance requirements, and the approval process, please review the MSD Volunteer Handbook and Volunteer Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ).
