ANNUAL PARENT NOTIFICATION

School districts in California are required to annually notify students, parents, and guardians of their rights and responsibilities. This notice, which is required by Education Code 48980, provides important information about federal laws and state education codes, as well as information relating to the rights and responsibilities of parents or guardians of children. The abbreviation of "EC" that is found after the title of most sections refers to the California Education Code (EC).
