The Transitional Kindergarten program is for students whose birthdays are between September 2 and June 2. Their time in Transitional Kindergarten will help them to succeed in Kindergarten, become leaders in the classroom, and confidently navigate the school day routine.

Kindergartners will follow the first grade early/late bird, parent conference and minimum day schedule. School begins at 8:25 AM for early birds and ends at 1:55 PM. School begins at 9:25 for late birds and ends at 3:05 PM. All kindergartners will follow the early bird schedule the first three weeks of school as do first graders. Recess, lunch and other schedules will be planned by each site’s principal and kindergarten staff.
