TECHNOLOGY IN MSD SCHOOLS

The Moraga School District supports the integration of technology for learning and teaching to empower learners. Students and staff have access to a wide variety of technology throughout the district. Each elementary school has one-to-one Chromebook access for students grades 3-5 and shared iPads for students K-2. Students in grades 2-5 receive regularly scheduled classroom instruction on digital citizenship and computer science, taught by the Educational Technology Teacher on Special Assignment. Joaquin Moraga Intermediate operates (2) computer labs for instruction and issues each student a  Chromebook to use for their academic studies.

The district has formulated an implementation plan to provide further training to teachers to support the Common Core State Standards, and to equip students with 21st Century Learning opportunities.
